Meet Dr Sean Sweeney

Radiologist

Dr Sean Sweeney trained in medicine at the University of Sydney and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He trained as a radiologist at a variety of sites, including John Hunter Hospital, Liverpool Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital. He has postgraduate qualifications in cardiac CT and further special interests in oncology, neurology, and general imaging.  In addition to working within the Bendigo radiology network, he is a Staff Specialist at Wollongong Hospital. He attends multidisciplinary meetings and international conferences to maintain up-to-date knowledge. He enjoys training radiology registrars and medical students in the latest imaging techniques.
